Hi! I’m Kristine Pennington and I have the pleasure of serving as the Executive Director of the Y in Parkville. My Y career started in 2019 in Anne Arundel County where I most recently served as the Associate Executive Director for the Y in Pasadena. While at that location, I assisted in the development and implementation of the Y’s second center-based community food pantry, Y Fresh Mart. Making meaningful connections with community partners to strengthen resources for Y families is incredibly rewarding to me. I look forward to deepening my connections in the Parkville community.

My personal philosophy is that with a little respect, kindness and gratitude, we can all forge paths to greater connectivity. I am here to support you and your family’s healthy living journey and ensure a positive member experience in a welcoming environment of inclusion and belonging for all.

Reliable Access to Healthy Food

Y Fresh Mart

 

In partnership with Maryland Food Bank and McCormick Flavor For Life, the Y in Parkville offers a community-based food pantry, serving as many families as we can with the resources we have.

Hours of Operation

Tuesdays: 4pm - 7pm
Saturdays: 10am - 1pm

 

Fresh Mart groceries include canned goods, bread, cereal, rice, pasta, fresh produce (when available), and more.
