Promotions, Discounts & Fees

SIBLING DISCOUNTS are available to you when two or more siblings are registered for the same weeks of camp. The discount code SIBLING2018 must be entered at checkout for the discount to be applied. Not available for Camp Spencer and Camp Puh'tok.

Y MEMBER CAMP RATES In order to qualify for member rates, the child you are registering must have, and maintain, an active Y membership at the time of registration and throughout all camp sessions. For family membership holders, the membership must be in the name of the parent/guardian registering the child. If a membership is purchased after registration, the member rate cannot be applied. Not available for the 2018 Camp Puh'tok season.

REGISTRATION FEE/PACKET A one-time registration fee of $35 per camper is paid when you "sign up" for the mandatory registration packet during the completion of online camp registration. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Not subject to sibling discounts. For more information about completing your online registration packet, see page 21 of the camp brochure.

DEPOSITS A $25 per week/per camper deposit is required for all camps. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, and are applied towards the total weekly camp fee. Even when camp is paid in full, $25 per week is considered a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit. Not subject to discounts.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE Financial assistance is available. Apply early as funding may be limited. Get details on financial assistance.

BALANCE OF WEEKLY CAMP FEES Payments for camp will be automatically drafted from your credit card 14 days prior to the start of the camp week. A complete payment schedule is included in the Camp Parent Manual. If the balance is not paid, the camper will not be allowed to attend and the slot will be reassigned.

CANCELLATIONS All changes and cancellations must be made in writing and include the camper’s full name, camp location, dates of the weeks to be cancelled, and a description of the request. All requests must be submitted to the Customer Service office either via fax at 410-779-9426, or by email to Deposits and registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If a camp week is cancelled two weeks prior, the deposit will be forfeited and any further balance paid will be refunded. Cancellations made with less than two weeks notice will not be accepted; all fees are non-refundable. For more information please review the financial policy in the camp parent manual.

Camp Hours

  • Traditional Day Camp: 9am – 4pm
  • Camp Spencer Day Camp: 8:30am - 4:00pm
  • Free Extended Hours: 7am – 9am/ 4pm – 6pm
  • Camp Puh'tok Day Camp: 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Camp Puh'tok Extended Hours: 8am - 8:30am/5pm - 6pm (Camp Puh'tok extended hours are available for a nominal fee and include breakfast and/or dinner.)

ACA Accredited

Most Y camps are ACA accredited, which means we run our camps according to the policies, procedures and practices that have been accepted as the best in the industry. We voluntarily go through rigorous inspections by outside professionals to ensure we continue to exceed state licensing regulations in health, safety, cleanliness, food service, programming, staff qualifications and training, emergency management plans, and more - up to 300 standards in all!

Y Camp team members undergo a thorough review process including "Camp Try-Outs" (a half-day of actual activities and scenarios), reference and background checks, and several interviews. Before working with campers team members will complete a minimum of 30 hours of training that is specific to their role, including first aid, CPR and activity leadership.
