Invest in Baltimore's Future: Baltimore City Mission Expansion Campaign

The Y: A Vital Community Asset

Each year, more than 300,000 people are engaged with Y programs and activities in over 100 locations across our community. More than 100,000 are under the age of 18.

We raise more than $30 million annually in financial assistance and grant subsidies to support children, families and adults. This ensures the Y remains OPEN TO ALL and engages those living on the margins who struggle to get by. The Y has a history of investing in the well-being of our community. Today, we renew our commitment to the neighborhoods we serve, with a focus on the most vulnerable communities.

Invest In Baltimore’s Future: Baltimore City Mission Expansion Campaign

Guided by our strategic commitment to a better life for residents in the City of Baltimore, we have launched a Mission Expansion Campaign to improve and expand our family centers which are critically important assets that help us deliver programs and make positive change.

"Baltimore is at a critical turning point. There are a lot of people who are interested in taking Baltimore to the next level. They look for organizations that can have an ability to sustain impact over time. When you look at the services the Y provides across the city and in this region, it's a player in those places that need the most attention, and it's doing it in very, very effective ways. If we're going to take Baltimore where we all know it can go, I think the Y's efforts to step up could be hugely consequential for the future of this city." - John Sarbanes, U.S. Representative, Maryland's 3rd District, and Y Board Member
