Participation in Y Programs

Being a part of a supportive, caring community is essential to good health and well-being. That’s why we’re doubling down on Y membership as the unifying hub of Y community life.

Beginning January 1, 2023, all enrolled families in Y early childhood and school-based programs such as Y Before & After School Enrichment will automatically receive a Y family membership with their enrollment! The membership continues annually, even during school holidays and summer months, provided you re-enroll by a specified date each year.

Y Before & After School Enrichment gives children a fun, healthy balance to the school day with lots of choices and opportunities to discover new talents and interests. Children go home happy, ready to rest and prepared for the next day, while parents enjoy peace of mind knowing their children are safe while they are at work.

PROGRAM BENEFITS, HOURS AND OPTIONS

Our program gives children a safe space to finish homework, unwind from the school day, and participate in lots of enrichment activity choices with their friends -- all while parents are working.
Enrichment programming includes our exclusive iDiscover series, strategy games, art, imaginative play, on-site "field trips" with special guests, a healthy snack, 30 minutes of homework time, and daily exercise/physical play (who better than the Y?!)
Families of two or more full-time enrolled children may pay the full program rate for the first child, and then receive 10% off for additional siblings registered during the same time frame/school year.
Program options include full-time (5 days a week) or part-time (3 days a week) at most schools. Choose from before school enrichment, after school enrichment or before & after school enrichment.
Before school enrichment begins at 7:00am and after school enrichment ends at 6:00pm for most schools.
Y Financial Savings could help lower your cost. In most cases, we also accept Child Care Subsidy (CCS) vouchers. LEARN MORE.

EXCLUSIVE IDISCOVER SERIES

iDiscover is a series of fun, age-appropriate enrichment choices that are centered around 21st Century Skills and College & Career Readiness. Hands-on activities are based on themes designed to promote discovery through STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math). Below are just a few of our iDiscover themes:

MEMBERSHIP FOR ALL

Membership is the unifying hub of Y community life. All families enrolled in Y Before & After School Enrichment receive a Y family membership as a part of their program enrollment. This membership benefit is annually worth over $1,200 per family but more importantly, it expands the value of your family's engagement with the Y!
