American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and evidence-based techniques and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help persons of any age – adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age).

Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, which is valid for two years.

American Red Cross Basic Life Support

The 2021 Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult, children and infants. Consistent with the American Red Cross Focused Updates and Guidelines 2020, BLS is the foundational CPR/AED program typically required for healthcare providers and public safety professionals. Through the use of lecture, skills demonstration, practice and case-based emergency response scenarios with a focus on team-based response, BLS builds the key critical thinking, problem solving, and team dynamic skills that are needed to drive better patient outcomes.

Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a 2-year Basic Life Support digital certificate with anytime, anywhere access to certificate and training history.

American Red Cross Babysitter's Training

Babysitters Training provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid.

The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old.
