As a mission-driven, charitable organization dedicated to serving all, we are firmly committed to, and deeply invested in, programs and services that support children and families at the bottom of the income scale who otherwise would be unable to participate in Y programs which keep them healthy, connected and learning. We achieve this through grant, corporate and individual support which enables us to provide Y membership and programs at highly reduced or no cost including preschool (inclusive of Head Start), camps and summer programs, Community Schools, mentoring, and after school programs. In 2017 alone, over 15,000 vulnerable youth and families were supported throughout central Maryland due to the collective efforts of our generous volunteers, partners, funders, donors, and associates.
