Y Before & After School Enrichment gives children a fun, healthy balance to the school day with lots of choices and opportunities to discover new talents and interests. Children go home happy, ready to rest and prepared for the next day, while parents enjoy peace of mind knowing their children are safe while they are at work.

Membership for All
Membership is the unifying hub of Y community life. All families enrolled in Y Before & After School Enrichment receive a Y family membership as a part of their program enrollment. This membership benefit is annually worth over $1,200 per family but more importantly, it expands the value of your family's engagement with the Y!
Your Y family membership includes:
- Unlimited access to all 11 Y family centers in Central Maryland
- Free Stay & Play for your little ones while you use the Y
- Group exercise classes
- Exclusive enrollment in skill building youth sports classes
- Use of our lap and family fun pools
- Brand-new exercise equipment
- Use of gymnasiums, family game rooms and rock walls
- A wide range of family programming (like Parents' Night Out- free date nights!)

Plus, your Y membership continues at no cost to you even during school holidays and the summer months, provided you re-enroll in the next year’s Y Before & After School Enrichment program by a specified date.
PROGRAM DETAILS, HOURS AND OPTIONS
- Our program gives children a safe space to finish homework, unwind from the school day, and participate in lots of enrichment activity choices with their friends -- all while parents are working.
- Enrichment programming includes our exclusive iDiscover series, strategy games, art, imaginative play, on-site "field trips" with special guests, a healthy snack, 30 minutes of homework time, and daily exercise/physical play (who better than the Y?!)
- Families of two or more full-time enrolled children may pay the full program rate for the first child, and then receive 10% off for additional siblings registered during the same time frame/school year.
- Program options include full-time (5 days a week) or part-time (3 days a week) at most schools. Choose from before school enrichment, after school enrichment or before & after school enrichment.
- Before school enrichment begins at 7:00am and after school enrichment ends at 6:00pm for most schools.
- Y Financial Savings could help lower your cost. In most cases, we also accept Child Care Subsidy (CCS) vouchers. LEARN MORE.
