LAP SWIM 

RESERVATION GUIDELINES

  • Reservations can be made for lap swim or water walking.
  • Members can reserve a 60-minute time slot (45 minutes to swim, 15 minutes for our team to sanitize all touch points in preparation for the next swimmer). The pool deck manager will signal you when it is time to wind down your swim.
  • Reservations can be made two days prior to your desired swim time.
  • Please book only one time slot per day.
  • Once you have reserved your lap lane, you will receive a confirmation email. You have the ability to cancel your reservation if needed and we kindly ask that you do cancel if your plans change, so another swimmer may use your time slot. (See instructions below.)
  • You are required to rinse off in the pool deck shower before entering the pool.
  • Capacity limits are in effect for all pools. Capacity will vary by location based on the size and configuration of the pool. 
  • Locker rooms can only be used for restrooms at this time. Please be prepared to bring all of your belongings with you to the pool deck and upon exiting.
  • FOR OUTDOOR POOLS: To access the pool, you must enter through the front doors of the Y. However, you may exit the pool area through the back gate to the parking lot. 

HOW TO RESERVE OR CANCEL LAP SWIM

To make a reservation:

  • Select your center from the links above.
  • Fill in your name, date of birth, email address, and phone number (the information you enter must match what we have on file). Click the FIND ME button.
  • Select a date, time, appointment type, and staff member. Click the BOOK button. If all time slots are filled, a message will appear stating: No results found for the selected filters. Please try broadening your search.
  • Once you book your reservation, a pop-up message will appear letting you know a confirmation email has been sent to you. Click OK.
  • Another message will appear asking if you want to schedule another appointment. Click OK or CANCEL. Please note that the system will only allow you to reserve one lap lane per day. If you want to reserve time for a different day, you may do so.

To cancel a reservation:

  • Select your center from the links above.
  • Fill in your name, date of birth, email address, and phone number (the information you enter must match what we have on file). Click the FIND ME button.
  • Click the MY APPOINTMENTS tab
  • Select the reservation you wish to cancel and click CANCEL.
  • If you are unable to cancel your appointment online, please contact your center so your time slot can be reassigned to another member.

 

FAMILY/OPEN SWIM 

RESERVATION GUIDELINES

  • Reservations can be made for family/open swim at the Pasadena Y, the Dancel Y, the Ward Y, and the Orokawa Y. Other centers will begin offering family swim shortly.
  • Members can reserve 1.5 hour blocks of pool time. In between reservations, the Y team will clean and sanitize the pool deck and all touch points in preparation for the next session.
  • Reservations can be made two days prior to your desired swim time.
  • Please book only one time slot per day.
  • Reservations may only be made for those members who are a part of your Y membership household with a limit of no more than six persons in any member reservation group.
  • Lockers and changing rooms are currently not available, so please remember to arrive ready to enjoy the pool directly after checking in at the front desk.
  • In an effort to assure your health and safety while in our pools, new Swim Guidelines have been developed. They are accessible online during the reservation process and must be signed by each member before arriving to the pool. You may submit your signed guidelines electronically.

WATER EXERCISE CLASSES

  • Most Y centers will begin offering water exercise classes starting July 20th. The Y in Parkville will begin water exercise classes July 23rd. The Dancel Y is expected to begin in early August.
  • Pre-registration is required as class sizes are limited.
  • Pre-registration will open two days prior to your desired class with the first classes available for sign up this Saturday, July 18th. 
  • We ask that you register for no more than one class per day so that all members have an opportunity to participate.
